When developing our recipe we researched for key ingredients that could provide a well balanced meal. After all, we wanted to provide a healthy and nutritious meal topper for picky dogs to eat! We found that turkey provided a lot of healthy nutrition for our carnivorously inclined friends.
Turkey is a lean, white meat that helps dogs build muscle. It is also a highly digestible protein source for dogs. When reading the label of some dog foods you may read "Turkey Meal" as an ingredient. Turkey meal is rendered and has less water than fresh turkey. At Chow Time Pet Foods we wanted to provide wholesome and delicious ingredients so we source our turkey in breasts and blend.
